Learning Objectives:
1.) Clinically identify actinic keratosis (AKs), their histologic features and re-classification as “squamous cell carcinoma, actinic type” and the association of AKs with human papilloma virus
2.) Learn the mechanism of action of the following “field therapies” used to treat AKs: 5-fluorouracil, imiquimod, photodynamic therapy, ingenol mebutate and diclofenac
3.) Become familiar with efficacy and safety data of approved AK field therapies
4.) Attendee will have developed a therapeutic algorithm using field therapies to treat different areas of the body and ways to maintain patient compliance
