2.) To become familiar with current epidemiology of sexually transmitted diseases, and thereby recognize which ones are most likely to present in his/her locale
3.) To be able to utilize proper diagnostic techniques for common sexually transmitted diseases
4.) To incorporate current, revised CDC treatment guidelines into management of patients presenting with sexually transmitted diseases
