Derm PA Jobs Open Across the Pond
PAs looking to live abroad may be able to satisfy that itch with opportunities in the United Kingdom. The National Physician Associate Expansion Programme (NPAEP) in England is seeking 200 Physician Assistants/Associates (PAs) to work in the English National Health Service (NHS) for a period of one to two years. There are 40 host organizations across the UK seeking PAs with significant clinical experience. This is an exciting opportunity to live and work in the UK while developing skills and leadership in an internationally acclaimed healthcare system. Salary packages are generous with a competitive annual salary, stipends for relocation expenses, and 33 days of paid vacation in addition to 8 public bank holidays.
Applicants to the program will be able to state their preference for locations. Dermatology PAs are needed in Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust in the North West and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Yorkshire, Humber and Newcastle regions. Leeds Teaching Hospitals is one of the biggest NHS trusts in the country, offering a range of both general and specialist hospital services. Leeds has an an international reputation for excellence in specialist care, research and academic training. The region boasts great provincial towns or picturesque Yorkshire countryside.
Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is located right outside the city of Manchester and is easily accessible to Liverpool, home of the Beatles. Both Leeds and Salford are within a two-hour train ride to London. Family members can come along for the experience and the NHS may be able to assist with childcare, including nursery care and after school care.
